Bearded Dragon Feeding

Question
Hello, I recently got my bearded dragon mealworms, and while i was reading an article online about feeding, it said you should not feed bearded dragons mealworms. It said mealworms have a hard, crunchy, shell, that could be fatal to bearded dragons. I can't go get him crickets because the petstore where we got him is far away from here. Any suggestions at all? =)

Answer
Hello, it is true that mealworms have hard shells. The bearded dragon body is not use to digesting the hard shell and should only be fed them very few each day. i would suggest feeding good greens to your dragon until you can get them crikets to feed on.
