hi there i have two german giant bearded dragons the male is aprox 18inch long and the female just over 17inch they just turned a year old in march over the christmas period they started to show signs of burmating they eat less and layed around for a couple of weeks then went back to there normal behaviour till the end of march we had a spell of cold weather and they started to sleep alot and not eat the female will eat a couple of wax worms a day but the male wont eat anything at all is it normal for this time of year and how long will this last iam really worried i dont want the to starve them selves to death there my babies.pls help

it may go on for a couple of weeks more but they should only eat fewer than they usually do and be less active during the cold months but other then that he should still eat a bit, the start of their tail holds fats they use store energy for food usage. he really should still eat if not you need to see a vet about this.
