Question
My beardie, Norman, seems to only have his sights on territory and women here lately.  The vet can't find anything wrong and my female is doing just great.  They live in separate cages, in the same room but not in sight of one another.  All he wants to do is run around, dig, stare off into space, and bob his head.  ALL DAY LONG.  He will only eat a few super worms per day, no veggies anymore.  He's been like this for about a month and is losing weight.  Is he just hitting his prime and searching for the girl of his dreams?!?  Is this normal beardie behavior?

Answer
Hello, breeding seaosn is far from over. He is not looking for the girl of his dreams but the movement is only normal when a male knows a female is around. I cannot explain the weight loss but he may just be in a phase. DO NOT change his diet he will go back to eating more soon.
