Hank JR   How long does my Bearded Dragon have to be  to have sand in the tank?
He is 7 inches right now. I have carpet from when we first got him(:

Hey Christiana, your bearded dragon does not have to be any specific length to have sand in his tank. Make sure as long as you have sand in the tank that a) he does not ingest too much which shouldnt be a problem and b) you keep the tank very clean for example replacing sand once in a while and cleaning the inside of the tank to prevent buildup.
