Question
QUESTION: My BD about a year and a half old started digging over and over everynight so i asked my pet store and they told me about the infertile eggs that females can have. But my problem is that she has been in and out of the soil bedding i made for her in a 10 gallon tank. What can i do to help enduce labor or help her lay them. Baths? Does heating have anything to do with it. PLEASE HELP??

ANSWER: Hello, the best thing you can do yourself is give her a warm bath and massage her stomach, this may help her pass the eggs.

QUESTION: How long should I leave her in the 10 gallon with the jungle mix soil? And in what increments of time? and is a strong heat source needed and a UVB as well? She also seems very very agitated with me is it just the circumstance or am i doing something wrong?

Answer
Hello, you need to leave her in the soil for as long as it takes for her to lay the eggs. this could take a while until she finds the appropriate laying spot. A strong heat source will be needed but a UVB may not be. A good idea is to give her whatever she has in her main enclosure that has to do with lighting and heating. Do not add under tank heaters or wire.
