Question
I had a bearded dragon for about 3 weeks. He's about 5 and half inches long. The problem is that he's not eating much at all, spikey is eat about 2 to 3 crickets a day and sometimes he doesnt eat. I put veggies everyday but hes not eating them yet . Im feeding small size crickets, hes well hydrated poops everyday and the white part a little runny the dark part is soiled and there clear liquid too water im gessing.I am really worry cuz I read that other dragon eat so much more im worry. Hes alert but doesn't run around but moves to different temperature spots. I got a 20g tank I have a reptisun 10 , 75w basking light the temp are 80 on the cool side 102 to 106 on the basking spot . I also have a infrared light 50w red glass but I read not to use them at night and that what I got it for. I dont know what to do I try to feed him in a bow also block off a part of hes tank and tryed feeding him there. Thank you for taking the time to read this im worry please help thank you

Hello, check for any irregular behavior. He could be sick with a parasite but by the way you have described it he seems to be defecating regularly, moving around frequently, and is getting hydrated. I wouldn't get too worried about his eating habits unless you notice that he is losing fat around his body. Usually when bearded dragons lose allot of weight you'll be able to tell by the fatty part of the tail. Keep a close eye on him and hopefully his eating habits will pick up. If they don't anytime soon, call your vet to make an appointment.
