Question
Hello Joe,
My name is Christian my female bearded dragon is 14 and 1/2 in and 16 weeks old. I been feeding her dubia roaches for about 3 months. About 3 or 4 weeks ago I started to feed her superworms and now thats all she wants to eat she still eat her greens I never had a problem with that, but when it comes to her live feeder all she wants now are superworms.  I've been looking around to get info and some say it can be feed as a staple and other say there they cant. So can you please help me what can i do or can they be feed as a staple . Are they good for her I gut loade all my feeder really good stuff. Thank you for taking the time to read this and plz give me all the info you can plz thank you.

Answer
Hello, the topic on superworms being a standard diet is very debateable. They do provide a good amount of fat which can be good during the bearded dragons developmental stages. It would be a good idea to use your live feeder as the daily diet and to use superworms maybe once a week. It would be more geared towards the idea of the superworms being a treat.
