Bredding ages??

I have a 11 month old Silky Fox Terrior.. She has just began her first HEAT. I am wanting to breed her with my Jack Russel Silky. Is she too Young?? Should we wait?

Your girl is really far too young to breed & I would urge you to wait until she's a minimum of 18 months of age before doing so. Also it would be wise to have both dogs given a pre-breeding health screening to ensure there is no health issue that may be passed on to any offspring. It's much better to wait until she's more physically & mentally/emotionally mature so that the chances of her being a good mother are stronger.
