Question
QUESTION: What should we feed a newborn yorkie three weeks old?

ANSWER: Where is the mother? Ideally a pup shouldn't be weaned until 4 - 6 weeks old.

You can start by feeding it canned dog food (the good stuff).  Pabulum, goat milk (no cow's milk) and the broth from beef kidney, liver, heart or chicken.

QUESTION: Owner of the mother couldn't handle her, so we just picked her up two hours ago and we are very concerned about what to feed her until we make it to the vet in the morning. Where can we find Pabulum? Or is there any thing at all that we can give her just to make sure she is ok for the night? Do you think that she will be okay with out feeding until the morning?

Answer
Pabulum is just baby pabulum available anywhere.  She has to be fed 4 to 5 times a day! And must not be around ANY dogs until it's been vaccinated.

Pups learn important social skills from a few weeks until 8 when they should be going home.  You are going to have to LOTS of socialization to ensure you don't have a fear biter, or a dog that doesn't play well with others.

Good luck
