Shih tzu spot bleeding 5 weeks after whelping

My shih tzu has occasional spot  bleeding (Dark color,no odor) after walks since she hadher 1 st litter 5 weeks ago.  Other than that she's fine. Is this normal?

It is common for a female to bleed for a few weeks after she whelps, especially if it was a difficult delivery.

If you are not certain that all the placenta's and afterbirth's were delivered, I would take her to the vet for a shot of oxytocin.
