female whelping

My female jack russell is on her 2nd litter, and is 63 days, she started panting and digging two days ago then it went off her, tonight she started panting and stretching and digging about 4 hours ago, she ate a little food which i hand fed her and now the panting has stopped is this normal ?? please help i am extremely worried

Panting is part and parcel of labor. Very common.  Try taking her for short walks to help stimulate and move pups down.

You can also give her vanilla ice cream, it will help with calcium, for her milk and assist with contractions, and keep her hydrated.
