Shitzu dogs

Are shitzus prone to geeting tumor like lumps on their bodyies??? If so are they usually cancer or just a cyst?

Hello Carissa,

No, Shih-Tzus are not especially prone to tumors. If your dog has lumps and/or cysts though, they need to be checked out.  A veterinarian would be able to tell you if it is cancerous or not.  Not every "lump" is cancer.
