mini-Dachsund prengnancy

My mini-Dachsund went into heat we don't know how long she was in heat we (my husband and me) seen blood spots all over our bed where she sleeps.She quit bleeding and her nipples started to sag a little and look fuller now there not saging so much and she is eating more than she us to she's only a year we did not intend for her to get caught this soon I wanted to breed her once before we got her fixed but not this soon how do I tell if shes pregnant? And what type of extry care dose she need? Will her puppies live with her being so young? thank you and God Bless.

Are you sure she is pregnant? Do you have a male in your house? The reason I ask, is that many females after being in heat will have a false pregnancy. Some even have milk. Only time will tell, unless you take her to a vet to find out for sure. He/She can feel the uterus to see if there are any pups and/or take x-rays if you want.  I am not a breeder, so it would be best to talk to a breeder or get a good book on dog birthing to answer your questions about what to expect.
