my new yorkie licking

I have a new Yorkie Puppy, and I notice she loves to lick...which seems normal...but it's a bit obsessive...is this a normal behavior for yorkies?

I don't have enough experience with Yorkies to say.  I actually think it is something a few individuals within most breeds do.  If you want to reduce it, I guess you could do much the same as for biting, substituting a chew toy for your hand, or withdrawing your attention.
