I think my dog had a seizure

I have a dog that will be two January 1st. Yesterday I think he might have had a seizure. He was asleep beside me on the couch and I was asleep, I felt him move around kind of flopping and then he feel off the couch. My husbad picked him up and just held him real tight then he started shaking and then he quit. But for about 2 hours after that he just layed around like he was just drained with no energy. What should we do if he has this again. Is there anything we can give him? I am sorry I forgot to tell you he is part dactson and part Chihuahua.

Sure sounds like a seizure to me as well. You should take your baby to the vet. This isn't something you want to treat with home remedies or without diagnosis. And it isn't something that you want to wait and see if it happens again. It COULD be something that won't re occur, but then again it could be something that will, and might happen while you arent home, or might be life threatening. Take baby to the vet for a complete workup.
