Yorkie shedding

My 3 yr old male yorkie seems to losing alot of his hair lately.  I brushed him and he lost alot of hair.  It has been abnormally hot.  Is this something I need to worry about.....go to the vet....or wait and see if it stops.

Hello Amie, It would have nothing to do with the heat.  So yes I would take him to the vet.  It might be a thyroid problem or something else.  Either way it is not normal and that usually is a cause for concern.  Good luck, I hope it's nothing serious.  Thanks for asking, Cindy Lou :)
