Solid Gold dog food?

Hi there, you seem to understand alot that i don't. I was feeding my dog Nutro Ultra wet food mixed with nutro dry food. but after this recall scare i can't trust them. I have bought her solid gold food for know, but i am unsure. Do you know anything about Newman's Own dog food? I adopted her in July she is a lovely 10 year old lab golden mix. Not very active, loves to lay on the couch!

Solid Gold is an excellent dog food, Amanda. I used to feed it myself, until the store that carries the better brands stopped carrying it. Now I feed Canidae.

Newman's Own is a good food, but it's highly overrated and often overpriced. If your dog is doing well on Solid Gold, I'd keep her on it.

And ((hugs)) for adopting a senior dog! We need more people like you!
