New pit bull puppy

My boyfriend and I just got a new puppy about a week ago. He is about 4 weeks now. We started feeding him science diet for puppies is that a good choice? We also got him some toys one of them is a fuzzy stuffed animal, but I am a little concerned because the fuzz gets into his mouth and he ends up eating it. Is that bad for him? What type of food and toys would you suggest? Also, if you have any other recommendations please let me know.

I can't belive people ell puppies that young its terrible and doesnt give the dog a chance to know how to be a dog from his mother and litter mates which makes socilization very must important on your part when he has some vaccines on him.
