my pregnant chihuahua

yes hi, as i said i have a 5 year old chihuahua  and my guess she is 50 days pregnant now , i could be aday or so off , but anyway she already is in her bed , she pivked out to have babies,but past few days or so she has ben refusing to eat , she stays in her bed and hides , comes out some , and awhile ago she had a round belly  but now she don;t , could she be dropping ,? and got up this morning she has dirreha, she comes out and sits with me or lays near where i am ,   havn't noticed any spotting or blood or mucus as of yet , please tell me what coud be going on with her , i have no money for a vet  to check her , these are her first , i try to stay close to her and keep a check on her , what else can i do ,please email me at prewittbren@aim.com  , i will appeciate all the help i can get , thank you .

Your dog needs to be examined by your veterinarian. There's no way to guess at what the problem might be, but not getting treatment could be endangering the lives of the unborn puppies, or possibly your dog's life.

If you can't afford treatment, talk to your vet about paying the bill off over a period of time. Many vets are open to this, as long as you discuss it before the dog is treated.

Another option would be to apply for CareCredit, which is like a special credit card you use for medical or veterinary purposes. You can read more about CreditCare here:

Contact your local animal shelter or Humane Society. Many times they know of reduced cost vet clinics in their area.
