friend

i have a friend that owns 6 dogs. she mistreats them, she doesnt walk them and feeds them once a day theyre shut in the house all day. Her family is getting rid of two of their dogs and getting a new one. i know that dog will be mistreated to! what should i do or say?.

That is a sad situation to be in.
If you try to talk to her, you will lose a friend, and probably won't help the doigs.
You can call the Humane Society, and they will keep your name out of it, investigate, and if they can prove an unsatisfactory living condition for the dogs, they will have them removed. She may also even get fined. It depends on what laws and ordinances there are in place where you live.
She will be warned against getting more dogs and treating them that way.
Someone has to do something for them.
If it were a child she was mistreating, you wouldn't hesitate to call Child Protective Services. In most places it is a crime you can be charged with if you know about it and DON'T report it. So look at it that way.
You are not doing something against your friend. You are doing something FOR the dogs, and the Humane Society will educate her about the way animals are SUPPOSED to be treated.
So you will really be helping her too.
She wouldn't appreciete it, if she knew you did it, but in the long run, she will benefit, and you will save some animals from being abused.
