poodle tails

I will be getting a toy poodle soon, and would like to know if it is OK if their tails are NOT cut. I have only seen baby poodles with tails, so I was wondering if they did the tail snipping for show or what?

The poodle does not get their tails docked, the tail for a poodle should be kept long, you may be thinking of another breed which has the tails docked. Consult a breed book on poodles for more information on the breed or look at akc.com for breed standards.
