Question
I have a male pug which is nearly 5 months old now and lately i noticed that he is vomiting.  Practically he vomitted on Sunday and Yesterday (Tuesday).  What could be the cause... could it be the food?  Lately i fed him Pedigree & Nutro.
Also i noticed that he is biting a lot seems his teeth are growing up and i found blood on a carpet which he was munching...

Answer
Dogs vomit for the same reasons that people do. The food could be disagreeing with him. Nutro is decent food, pedigree is not. If i were you I would definitely discontinue the pedigree. They also vomit when they have a virus, are ill or have a sore throat. Pay particular attention to how your dog feels and behaves. Changes in behavior accompanied by vomiting need to be assessed by a vet.
Your puppy is at the age where teething is going on. Give him lots to chew on until it passes. Ice cubes are wonderful
