any way to stop my female maltese from having reoccuring uti's

Have your veterinarian do a culture so that your dog can be put on the correct antibiotic and clear the problem up once and for all. And make certain that the dog takes ALL her medication, and I would get enough for three weeks rather than the more usual 10-14 days.
