Docking Mini Pinn Puppy Tails....

I have 2 little female mini pinn puppy's that are 3 days old now and I would like to know how short to dock their tails..... and for sure what age to do it......

Hi Debra,

If you are cutting the pup's tails it's best done at  2-4 days of age. The banding technique of tail docking is done at 2-5 days old and is less painful.

Both methods are safe when done by an experienced person. If you would like to dock your puppies tails, have a veterinarian or experienced dog breeder show you how. This is not something to attempt if you are inexperienced.
