change in dog going inside

Question
I have a 5 year old male yorkie. The last few months he has been peeing in the house. He is now pooping in the house, what can I do? Nothing has changed in his life.

Answer
It might be a medical problem, such as diabetes or hypothyroidism, which causes a dog to go to the bathroom more then normal,as well as an infection-so it would be best to take him to vet for tests first

Then second if everything is fine, sometimes it's very small changes, such as a different type of food,a change in the time you come home, and sometimes the dog is looking for attention, even if it is bad attention

now what you can do for that is to try a crate and keep him in there except to be fed,to go outside,to play or if you want to take him for a walk ect Then you can slowly let him out of the crate more often(after about 2 or 3 weeks),but if he goes back to making accidents, put him back in the crate for another week or so
