Clogging clippers, dog grooming

Question
why are my Andis professional clippers (new) with my 30 blade with combs attached getting clogged up and not cutting hair? The first swipe cuts then it clogs. My clippers are new, the 30 blade is new. Its not working on ShihTzu's and Bichon's.

Be sure the blades are kept oiled at all times, and they must be thoroughly cleaned before/after each use. It sounds like the blade is getting hair caught between the two blades. Dirty hair can clog blades pretty fast. Also, there is always a possibility that the blade is faulty. If the problem continues, I would return it.
