6 week old rotti pooing mucus

Hi, I just bought a 6 week old rotti, he had worms so i took him 2 days ago to get him his first deworming done. i also got him his first shots. I wanted to know if it is normal for him to be pooping out mucus now there is little to no blood in his poops but he is just pooping the mucus there is little to no poo with it. Is this normal? Could it be because he got his shot and his system is just dealing with it? Please let me know i want to know if this is something that i should take him ASAP to see a vet or if i should wait couple days to see if it will stop?

Hi Vicki,

If your puppy is not acting lethargic it's probably not an emergency, but you still shouldn't wait a few days to see if your puppy's stools improve.

It's impossible to guess at what the problem could be, because there could be several things going on. It's better to be safe, than sorry right?
