Answer
Hi Jim;
Small dogs are a lot different than large dogs...first of all their capacity to hold it, is smaller. In your case very small!

The other problem, is that a smaller type of dog doesn't understand the territory concept as well as a larger breed...thus, many a person has given up on housebreaking a small dog, especially a "Toy Breed"...as they seem more stubborn!

But, here are a few tips, just in case;

Are you feeding her not later than 4 pm?
I would, so, that she does not have to eliminate as much in the night.
What diet are you using?
As, some diets are easier to digest, and thus a faster elimination time.
I would suggest that you use a "higher" fiber content than you are probably using.
I feed "Best Breed" to my Yorkies, and they do really well on it.
I use the "Working Dog" Diet, and it is a really good balance of nutrition;
You can go to their website: www.Bestbreed.com
Dr. Gary Cotton, a Nutritionist with Prevention of Dog Disease back round invented the Diets, and they are really super!
I have fed small and large breeds, so, I know the difference in their requirements, and this diet works great!

The other idea, is that you take her out, prior to going to bed, one last time to "Potty"...leave her out for a while, and try a Kennel or a Exercise Pen to give her the freedom to move, and that will also help her eliminate.
The Best Breed diet has a sure proof system, as the dogs will crave water about 40 mins after eating, and the fiber then moves down the tract as soon as they drink, and they go "Potty" right after they drink.
So, it is a really easy system, and this way you can control the habits better with their schedule.

So, give those ideas a try, and then get back to me after awhile, and let me know how you do!
I am most able to help anytime,
And I would love to hear your Rating of my Answer on the Website.
Thanking you in advance,
Best regards,
Melissa
