Dog Whining

I have a Foxteriour who has been whining since we lost our other dog it's been about two months. We purchase him toys we have children there that play with him all day. How can we get him to stop whining?

Answer
Your dog is missing his best friend. The solution is to get another dog or to take him to the local dog park or make some "doggy play dates" for him if you have any friends who have a nice dog that likes to play. Take him for more walks and do more "one-on-one" things with him.

Don't just assume that he will entertain himself with more toys or that the kids will keep him occupied. He is grieving and needs to be brought out of that.
