1 1/2 year lab chow mix eyes watery

Hi,  We just got bear from B.A.R.C.S. My dog Bear always looks like he is crying when I took him to the vet he wanted $500.00 for eye surgery saying that the bottom of his eye lid is in and not out (or visa versa) like it should be and that he would have to stitch it to correct it.  Does this sound normal to you???

Yes, I can see eye surgery running that high. You could go with the surgery or just leave it as it is.  I, personally, wouldn't do it.  It depends, I guess, on whether you can put up with some extra tears or not.
