Jack Russell Urinating in House

Question
I have a 7 (soon to be 8 year old) year old male Jack Russell/Fox terrier mix.  He was in a kennel for 9 days in November and ever since he has been choosing to pee in the house and refusing to go outside.  He only pees when we are in the house.  We've had him tested for various illnesses; everything has come back negative.  He is crated at night.  During the day he has the "run of the house."  Never pees when he has the "run of the house" only when we are home!  We are at our wits end with this dog and don't know what to do.  He seems to "favor" my husband and it seems when he is out and comes home, regardless of how long, that's when the dog decides to pee.  My son went to a sleepover, came home, the dog followed him into his room, and peed at the foot of his bed.  We just got new furniture 2 weeks ago, today, the dog decided to pee on the furniture in full view of my son.
Please help.

Answer
Well what you might want to do is put him in his crate full time, meaning he stays in there at all times except to go outside,to play,to go for a walk and to take him somewhere, and try that for about 2 weeks, then slowly let him out more, and if he starts peeing again, put him back in the crate for another week

It could be caused by one of two things, one is he is mad at the family for leaving him,and the other is maybe at the kennel he wasn't let out at times that he is used to,and went inside and got used to the idea of going where he feels like
