Question
My Shih Tzu dog is barking all the time, we are telling her NO!  Even tried the
stones in the bottle method and it hasnt worked.  She barks mainly for no
reason, she is 1 years and 4 months.  Im frightened that she is going to over
bark one time and lose her bark for good, which I dont want.  Is there any advise
you can give please?

Answer
You are telling her no, and she is hearing you bark with her
She's not going to overbark and lose her bark for good.
When she barks, kneel down, cup your hand fingers open and extended and give a sharp poke in the collar area, making a sharp CHH sound like the beginning of the word chair. REpeat until she stops. The SECOND she stops , reward and praise her. And I do mean the SECOND.
Once you have her stopping using this method, TEACH her to bark. When it's ok for her to bark and she begins barking give her a command such as SPEAK and reward her. Once she has learned to speak on command, use the above technique to stop her EVERY time she begins barking without the command. THEN progress to having her speak and then giving her a command to stop. It can be stop, out , quiet, or hush, or even SHHHHHH loudly. Accompany the ending command with the sharp poke and the chhh noise , She'll get it. Once she does , you can leave off the physical correctin and the noise. When she barks ,use the end command. It'll take some time but stick with it, consistency is KEY
