Golden Retriever Testicles

My 11-month old golden still has not developed his testicles. They still have not gone down. When are they supposed to go down? Is he still within the age frame?

Has your dog had regular vet care?  They are long overdue to descend.  The vet should have discussed the matter with you if you had him in around 6 months for anything.  The best thing is to talk to the vet about removing them now.  I hope you weren't planning on breeding him, but please forgo any thought of it.  Even if it could be surgically corrected, he would still pass on his defect.  It is inexcusable to breed defective dogs.
