Black Lab/Boxer Mix

Question
I have a 3 year old Black Lab Boxer Mix. The problem is that he is very aggressive. He is neutered, but still has the tendency to hate strangers, and even likes to bite black shoes when they come in the house. I have had him since 4 months old, and he has always been very aggressive. Any idea how to stop this? He is great with me and loving, but just does not like new people. I am afraid to socialize him with new people, he could bite someone. He has never been abused. He even attacks the TV when something comes on that spikes his interest. When he eats or has a bone, you do not even want to go near him as he growls and gets mean. I do not have small children, so this is not a problem. I was just wondering if there is something that I can do.

Answer
This is a serious dominance problem and the only real way to fix is is to take him to a trainer,or better yet have a trainer come up to your house and see what he is like

Dog trainer work with problems like these all the time-and it;s really the best way as they can see what the problem is and show you how to fix it

This is a serious problem and the best way to pick the best trainer is call up a number of them and explain to them the situation
