dogs.....feeding

Miss/mr. my american eskimo is not eating her food but when i give her the wet food she eats it all up in one bite however she realy isnt my dog shes my cuszins but he doesnt change her food s so at the end of the day shes very hungry  what should i do

Hello Vanessa thanks for emailing, some dogs are very fussy eaters as you are noticing with your cousins dog. Wet food is very bad for the dogs teeth and often makes for sticky feces that stick to the dogs coat and are hard to pick up. If she will not eat her hard food there may be many reasons...first what type of dry food is being offered? when is it being offered and how much is being offered? is she getting table scraps of treats in the run of the day as well or not?   If you can follow-up with the answers to these questions I will be able to help you, your cousin and the dog out.
