little humping puppy

hi there,

I too have a problem with my new puppy humping. He's only 10 weeks old and
humps my arm whenever he gets the chance. He hasn't figured out the word
"no" yet and isn't fixed yet. I tell him no, but he really just ignores me. Help!

Hi Janice,

Keep telling your puppy "No", and remove him from your arm, or leg as you give the "No" command. He will learn if you are as persistent and  consistent in your corrections. Of course, having your puppy neutered will help with the humping behavior.

Humping behavior is also used to show dominance in dogs of both sexes. You might have an "alpha" puppy who is trying to to show you that he's in charge! Being a strong "pack leader" and keeping your puppy in his proper place by training him some basic obedience commands   will really help. These sites have directions for how to do that:
