I have a young maltese that is 2 months old. She sleeps during the day and plays at night. Is that normal?

Hi Luna,

It's not unusual that your puppy sleeps during the day, and wants to play at night. Puppies are like children. You wouldn't let them sleep all day as you know they'll be awake all night!  During the day give your puppy more opportunities for exercise, and she'll be calmer at night. If you have a large local park with plenty of space, or dog area, take her and let her run and play, or just give her more leashed walks.  You should get your puppy on a schedule of walks, eventually she get in sync with the schedule.
