Question
I have a six weeks old Siberia Husky. We brought him home two days ago. The very same day we picked him up we had his second wormer Nemex. The first one he got on the 7-10. As soon as we brought him home he started having diarrhea. But he pooped solid as well. Today is the second day he has had diarrhea. Other shot(s) he got (this is what says in his record I do not know if it the same thing, pardon my ignorance)is CANINE PARVOVIRUS VACCINE and CANINE DISTEMPER ADENOVIRUS TYPE 2-PARAINFLUENZA VACCINE on the 7-16. He has good appetite, drinks a lot of water and is active but sleeps a lot. Please help! Is this something serious???
Thank you so much for your time and help

Answer
Usually a change will interfere with the digestive tract as will any changes in the diet. Changing dog food has to be done gradually to avoid upset stomach. Boiled chicken, rice, potatoes, plain yogurt are great for upset stomaches. With all the vaccines I would give it a bit but call your vet just in case and describe the situation. They are more familiar with your dog on a personal level as well as have full knowledge of shots, allergies, and so on.
