my dogs fur is bushy in spots, i don't know how to describe it but it seems to be getting worse, and spreading. it started on her neck then the following day it was all along her back.
my question is, do you know what it is? if so, how do i cure it?

I'm not sure what you mean by "bushy spots". Is there hair loss? Is the skin inflamed or broken?  Is there itching?

You need to have your dog examined by a veterinarian. Changes in a dog's coat can be due to a number of things, ranging from a Thyroid condition to microscopic skin mites. Treatments will vary, depending on what the problem is, so it's important to get a diagnosis and not just treat the symptoms.

If there your dog is itching or scratching the areas, you can try a soothing medicated dog shampoo (be sure to dry her well after). This won't cure her problem, but it might make her more comfortable until she can be seen by a veterinarian.
