We have a stray dog. We cannot catch him. His leg has been shot we believe and has fallen off. Do you think it can heel on its own?

Try your best to catch him and/or call your local animal shelter or SPCA or animal control. Give them all of this information. I don't think it would heel on its own,there is a high risk of infection. Please let me know how things go. If you have trouble let me know and i will try to call the places in your area...Good luck
