dog urine

my dogs urine has a really bad odor. he doesn't pee inside but the area he uses outside is really starting to smell even long after he urinates. how can i control this or minimize the odor?

Make sure he's getting enough water. Dogs need to drink a lot more than most people realize. You might also have him vet checked for a urinary tract infection just to be sure.
If he's not neutered his urine will smell stronger than a neutered dog as well.
Another thing that could help would be acidophilus and/or unflavored yogurt added to his food.
