Red, balding spot on dogs leg

My dog has a red, balding spot on the back of his leg and I don't know what it is or what to do?

You need to have your dog examined by your veterinarian. There are several conditions which have the symptoms of redness, and hair loss. Treatment will vary depending on what the diagnosis is, so there's no use in trying to guess at what the problem is.
