corn gluten. dog will not eat it. want to feed premium dog food.dogs infection showed strepococcous (wrong spelling) urinary infection. what are the chanes of reocurring stones plus what do I feed my dog who suddenly is
always hungry. HELP PLEASE

Answer
If you had an actual stone removed (as opposed to crystals in the urine) you need to be cautious. First step is to control the infection and prevent reccurrence. It's also essential to feed a correct diet. I can formulate a diet for you  with nutrient levels similar to the Hill's food, but using wholesome fresh ingredients. however this is what I do for a living so it's a professional service involving many hours of calculation and correspondence. If you would be interested, please see my Services page at www.thepossiblecanine.com and contact me at catlane@thepossiblecanine.com. Otherwise, sorry to say I encourage you to stay on the prescription diet for now.

All the best and I would be happy to help if you wish to contact me privately.
