1 or 2 poodles?

I have an 18 month old toy poodle. She has a great disposition and seems to love other dogs as well as people. We recently went on vacation and left her in a home with several other dogs and she had a great time. Since then, I've been wondering whether we should get a mate for her. Do you think toy poodles do better with another dog around or should I leave things as they are? I appreciate any input on this subject you can provide. Thanks.

It is hard to say.  Young dogs love visits, but sometimes resent another dog moving in.  You need to consider if you want the extra work and expense of another dog.  Many dogs do fine as an only dog, and many people have 2 or more.  A neutered male/spayed female is usually the easiest combination to manage.
