Question
QUESTION: i just got a puppy from my friend. the puppy's mother died and it's only 2 weeks old. how can i care for it and to make sure it doesn't get sick? I'm feeding it cow's milk because in Cambodia, there isn't any puppy replacement milk. it's really small and not very active. how can i keep it alive?

ANSWER: Cows milk may cause digestive upsets, but may have to do.  it is the lactose that is the problem.  Look around and see if you can find any products meant for lactose intolerant people.  Begin working in well softened puppy or dog chow.

It may still need its back stroked to stimulate elimination.  Mother dogs do it with their tongue.

QUESTION: thank you. is the puppy supposed to have diarrhea all the time? also should it be a yellowish light brown color?

ANSWER: It is normal for the stool to be soft and the yellow brown.  It may be even more loose because of the milk.

QUESTION: thanks again. when the puppy sleeps, the head and paws twitch a lot, and i previously found some fleas on it. it's too small to get vaccinated right? or is it just lonely?

Answer
Normally puppies are not vaccinated until 6 weeks.  As for the fleas, check the directions for the products available to you.  In some cases, you can apply flea spray to a towel and wrap it around a young puppy.  Your puppy is too young for the Sentinel and Revolution I have on hand and likely other such products.  Do you have a vet you can go to for advice and later treatment?

I don't know what to say about the twitching.
