I have a MINI POODLE. Is it wrong to feed him chicken bones

Nearly everybody says don't feed cooked chicken bones to dogs because the the dog can crush them into sharp splinters.  There are those that insist uncooked bones are OK.  It is also possible a small dog wouldn't be able crush chicken bones.  They may or may not hurt your dog.  Not giving him chicken or other bones certainly won't hurt him.  It should also reduce the wear on the teeth.
