puppy weight

Question
My puppy is a 14 week old yellow lab and he is the "runt" of the litter and although he is very healthy, he is very small as well. We were just wondering how much the ideal weight is for a 14 week old, male, yellow lab with no health problems. We were simply wanting to compare and see how unusually small he really is. Thank you.

Answer
My daughter was here with hers last weekend.  Duh?  He was definitely big enough that although still cute and little, a chunk to pick up.  A couple of mine were about 20 pounds at that age.  The one my daughter had 3 years ago was 20 pounds at 8 weeks when she got him.  He was huge at at year, maybe 80 pounds.  More important is how much should he weigh for his size?  Here is a link to a good way to judge, http://www.puppychow.com/products/popup_body_condition.aspx  Puppies should have a waist.  Usually they come from the breeder overweight.  The weights I mentioned were all for nice lean puppies.
