Question
my huskie ziggy who i have had since she was seven weeks old and now reaching 14 years old. Apart from the usual booster injections etc she has never had a days illness nad has never had to attend the vet(touch wood), but have recently discovered a small lump in the corner of her eye do you have any idea what it could be. Scared to take her to the vet.

It could be a blocked tear duct, a Sty, cancer or Cherry eye. I really cannot say. You can try putting a hot compress on it if it is a sty or blockage that can clear it up. I would recommend taking her to a vet. It would be better to know what you are dealing with then scared of what it might be.
