puppy wont let me hold him anymore

We have an 11 week old bichon frise. He is a great dog and loved being held and gives kisses. He was playing hard with one of the kids and he started getting kinda violent with the tug of war, and now he won't let us hold him. He wiggles and wiggles and at first he growled and bit his owner. He settled down now a day later but still wiggles. He gives kisses and everything else is normal but won't let us hold him anymore?

Hmm...tricky. Well i think that he is thinking that if you hold him, you will do something that he wont like. Try assuring him. When he is giving you kisses, sit on the ground next to him and slowly get closer and closer to a hugging position. Praise alot while your doing this. Then eventually he should let you hold him. Hope this helps.
