golden retriever pup

hi, my golden retriever bitch had a litter of 12 pups 3 weeks ago, unfortunately only one is still alive, the vet told me it was fading puppy syndrome and its unknown why it occurs, he said the remaining pup would probably die too but its been 3 weeks now and the pup is big and strong looking, the only thing is that it hasn't stood up yet, is it too early to expect it too stand at this stage, also do you think its getting too much milk as it is the only pup suckling and doesn't have to compete.
